I would like to talk to you about social anxiety in relation to talking on the phone. Have you ever heard the words, "it's too much to type can I just call you" and went into an anxious spiral? Have you ever sent a text to someone and instead of texting back they called you? Have you ever started wringing your hands and breaking out in a sweat rehearsing what you're going to say to the coffee barista in the check out line? Hi, my name is Willow, and I'm here to help. Don't worry about your phone anxiety. Because while I can and do, talk to people on the phone, that is mostly a learned behavior, from a rather archaic time when people didn't have cell phones and tiny keypads.
While I can talk on the phone, it doesn't mean I enjoy it all the time. Odd thing for a phone companion to say? Not really. I prefer typing, I love writing, and I generally share the nerve-wracking experience of people always wanting to call you instead of texting when you're trying to relax. Texting conversations are the way to go when you have social anxiety. Personally I find text chat way more relaxed and less anxiety inducing. So I understand when people get nervous having to talk to someone on the phone.
So let's say you like talking on the phone, and I like talking TO YOU on the phone, but you've got limited privacy or you have to be relatively quiet to avoid disturbing others? Talktome texting is a great way circumvent the need for quiet spaces and privacy. Oh you haven't seen our Talktome123 site? Well now you know, when you decide "I want to talk to Willow," that is an option for you. There are times when talking beats texting, I'm simply letting you know you have some excellent options.
Speaking of options, if you'd like to chat you can contact me on Discord, which is where I do most of my texting. I look forward to getting to know you, new friend.
