Sometimes you just need to type it out instead of saying it out loud.
I get it. Not everyone wants to pick up the phone. Maybe you're in a crowded coffee shop, or your roommate is in the next room, or you just process things better when you can see the words on a screen. That's the beauty of text. You can have real, substantive conversations without the pressure of real-time verbal response.
I'm drawn to the written word anyway. There's something about the way ideas unfold through text that creates its own kind of intimacy. You have time to think, to craft what you actually mean, to go back and add that thing you forgot. And I love that rhythm too; the back and forth that builds into something deeper than you expected when you first sent that message. My background is a weird mix. I've worked in education and counseling spaces, studied occult symbolism and tarot for years, and spent way too much time reading about everything from Jungian psychology to folklore traditions. I'm endlessly curious about why people do what they do, what stories we tell ourselves, and how our inner landscapes shape the way we move through the world.
What do we actually talk about? Honestly, whatever's on your mind.
Maybe you're navigating something complicated in your relationships and need a sounding board who won't immediately take sides. Maybe you want to geek out about your niche interests, whether they are obscure music, philosophy rabbit holes, or that book series no one else seems to care about. Or perhaps you're working through personal goals and need someone to check in with and remind you why you started in the first place.
I'm also that person who loves diving into the weird intersections between topics. Patterns and connections intrigue me! How does mythology influence modern storytelling? What can tarot teach us about narrative structure? Why do certain songs hit different depending on the season? I collect quotes, curate playlists for specific moods, and have strong opinions about which streaming shows are actually worth your time.
Here's what I won't do though, judge you for wherever your thoughts wander. I've heard a lot over the years, and what I've learned is that most people are just trying to figure themselves out while the world keeps demanding they have it all together. If you want to explore spirituality, I'm comfortable in those spaces too, including tarot readings, energy work, ritual practices. If that's not your thing, we don't have to go there at all.
What I offer is presence without performance. You don't have to curate yourself for me. You don't have to worry about how you look or sound or whether you're saying the right thing. Text gives us both the freedom to be more authentic because there's less social pressure in the exchange.
I'm not a therapist, but I am a good listener and problem-solver. I care about the people I talk with and not in some detached professional way, but genuinely. When our conversation ends, I want you to feel like you've been heard. Like maybe you've got a clearer sense of whatever you're working through. Like you're not as alone in this as you thought.
The world moves fast and it's easy to feel like you're drowning in notifications while still feeling completely unseen. But we can carve out something real here, even if it's just through a screen.
So if you're looking for conversations that are meaningful and matter, or for a space where you don't have to explain yourself before you've even started; I'm here.
