It's hard to find someone to talk to, isn't it? I mean, really talk to, have an in-depth conversation with, really bare your soul and get deep with some inner truth and meaningful emotional connection. Finding someone you can trust enough for that sort of connection is difficult in the first place, but now everyone is just so busy and distracted and somehow everyone online is also a bot. I get it! How do you have the sort of conversation about anything, everything, or just, talk to someone about your day? I guess that's why I'm here, and so are you, right?

I want that sort of deep connection that you can't find in a crowded bar or nightclub. Dating apps are boring, you get way too many of the wrong sorts of connections, and where else do you even go to find someone to talk to? I want to talk to you, and find out all your secrets.

There should be some reciprocity, right? So I'll tell you a couple of my secrets first, and then you'll share yours with me! To start with, I love art. I do my best to make art, in various mediums. I draw, and paint, and I make "folk art" which is a terrible name to give to historically "women's" arts, but I crochet and knit. And by "I crochet and knit" I mean, I make handmade lace. I also read philosophy for fun. Scanlan and Kant are favorites of mine. Poetry is another deep love, Mary Oliver, Edna St Vincent Milay, Andrea Gibson, and basically everything ever. I am a huge nerd about a lot of subjects!

I'm open-minded, enthusiastic, tend to ramble if I get on a topic I love, and would love to see what makes YOU go all flustered and rambly, too. Let's talk, and see what happens.
